PODCAST
As a loudmouth who enjoys dense literary theory, it made sense to create a podcast all about that very topic, so in 2022 Thinking About Writing first aired. It’s a podcast for anyone who is writing, or thinking about writing for TV, film, radio and theatre, as well as people who just listen to any old podcast.

In each episode we have a think about a different element of script writing, such as exposition, tone or protagonists before evaluating how important they are in the writing process. (Spoiler: Usually the answer is ‘somewhat important’)

The show also features special guests such as head of BBC Writersroom Jessica Loveland, playwright and Coronation Street mega writer Jonathan Harvey and sketch writing empress Gemma Arrowsmith. They offer up loads of knowledge and experience in different fields of writing, so that’s nice.
There are three series available to listen to now on all your usual podcast providers or this player below.
